Although we are a church with a long history (in fact we are one of the oldest churches in the Ribble Valley), we are not here to be a relic of a bygone era. We are passionate about preaching a clear, relevant message about Jesus in a modern and vibrant style. Many people think church is dull and irrelevant, and sadly their views are not always mistaken. Not so at Sabden Baptist Church! We love Jesus and the transforming work he is doing in the lives of our communities. SBC is on the up and so, if you like the sound of it, come and join us on our journey.
Church today is often so far from what it’s meant to be i.e. a place teeming with life, enthusiasm and purpose. That’s the kind of church we want to introduce you to.

We have a varied worship programme including Communion Service, Scripture Service, Guest Speaker Service and also an Open Service. There are also different themed services throughout the year at holy times such as Easter, Harvest and Christmas.

We use our Blog/podcast to share the 'message' that we receive in our church services, so that those who can't join us can still feel part of our worship and can continue to build their relationship with God and Jesus. The Waterfall Journey with Angie Coombes
We've been lucky enough at SBC to have received, first hand, this solid and relevant biblical teaching. The Waterfall Journey follows the path of discipleship. It brings the committed believer into the Father’s presence every moment of every day and into the abundance of life that Jesus died to give us by His death upon the cross. It is LIFE in all its fullness, empowered by the Holy Spirit.
